Check your tank clearance, you may find those signals come pretty close.

Looking good. Is the top tree getting chromed?

I couldn't live with the gap between my Biltwell risers and my Wild1 bars.

The biltwells are beautiful bit of kit but not suited to these bars so I opted for the Wild1 risers which but up nice and flush.

I also ordered these:

And picked up these:

Not sure if I like them yet but will get them on and see.

Starting it all today and hopefully its done and dusted in time for a 2500km road trip to the outback with a mate in a few weeks.

Short risers FTMFW!

Those are one of the best wide glide apes, IMO. The wide mitered base suits the wide trees nicely.

What's the thing in your hand? Slider cap?

I Agree, hate when the bars run outside of the fork width.

The thing in my hand is a fork dust cap, not sure if I like that its higher than stock but we shall see.

I really like my tall caps, but I think yours are taller yet. Curious to see how they look installed.

I would attach a pic of mine but my forks are out being rebuilt and photobucket is holding my pics ransom.

The plans are simple enough. I am putting polished aluminum triples trees on it, polishing the lower fork tubes. New handlebars. New front tire. Looking at this picture it doesn't appear that the blinkers will get in the way.

I just want to get the bike back on the road. I'll get back to some stuff later.

yes I'm HOPING that the fact that they are tall will make the front end 'look'l lowered but without sacrificing travel.
