The Alpine plugs do work out well I ride without a windscreen and found the Alpine MotoSafe Race plugs to be even more effective for me. They have the highest level of wind noise reduction of all the Alpine plugs, but behind a windscreen and hearing your tunes, you've got the right plugs.

If anyone is riding without wind protection these are the plugs for you. Can't find them in the States anywhere, but eBay provides

Added the Dead Center Cycles Road Captain fairing and the accompanying electronic toys.....took all day Saturday and Sunday to get it done and installed, but I finally got to go for a shake down test ride today.

Been a big fan of yours D.B., should have known you were a Dyna guy all this time! Rock on DB
LMAO! Good stuff! That pic is a drawing of Alan from the Hangover movies - my son drew it in art class and gave it to me for my birthday

If anybody is interested in a brand new, never installed Motogadget M.Unit, let me know. I decided to move to the new M.Unit Blue

M.Unit V2

Added a 20" Bowman Top Hand Welding Sissy bar and a LaPera Bare Bones Pill along with passenger pegs. The Drag Specialties passenger peg brackets were a pain in the butt. Had to grind the brackets and the pegs to get them to work. Not sure why I wanted a 2-up bike, my wife rides her own.

Went to rebalance the engine after putting in the front mount and forgot to disconnect the fuel line when lifting the tank to disconnect the top stabilizer. Broke the fuel line and then found the top stabilizer about a half inch too long. Can't get the stabilizer to adjust length without damaging the rubber so just ordering a new one. Any suggestions for top stabilizers?
