I installed the heat shields(they may still need adjusting). I am not putting the Python Slash Cut Slip-Ons on the bike. I found a pair of discontinued Cycle Shack Slip-Ons that I originally wanted. They are "slashier". I think they will look perfect on the bike-if everything lines up nicely. Also a picture of the right footpeg bracket.

The brackets disappear nicely. I'll have to doublecheck that mine work with my fatass pipes. If so, I think I'll do mine too. They're so heavy tho! Hmm...

Looks like imgur is my new photo host.

If its the first time the pivot been apart, dont be surprised if you find the whole assembly bone dry with a lot of powdered bushing on the right side. I had to replace everything that moves, except the pivot bolt, left hand spacer, nut, and dust shields...

Did 290 miles yesterday with what sounded like excess valve train noise and some knocking then found this this morning.

Oh, and shout out to TinCup on the ear plugs he recommended. I did the first 100 miles without them and had ringing in my ears when I stopped for lunch. Put them in and after another 200 miles no ringing or pain and still able to hear the stereo on the highway.

That is crazy. We are close in power, after the dyno tunes, and mine only got better. I am pushing 40 now on the interstate, if I keep my hand tame. I think your tune needs a bit of work.

Went for a ride yesterday.
Rounding a sweeping left, here comes a bagger in my lane towards me. I evaded him as he was trying to pass a line of cars. He was on the power as he passed me (head-on.) He was leaned over about as far as a bagger can. I was leaning too, about 6" from the fog line. I was PO'd at that rider, passing on a blind curve in the mountains by Julian. Well, that was my excitement for the day. Be prepared for the "other guy" folks. Some of them ride bikes too...
