Headed out early for a day ride; beautiful morning riding north hitting some of the twisty roads but it turned stormy with a quickness. Pulled over and put the Power Vision in the ziploc bag I carry just for such problems, jumped on 27 and motored back down south with a purpose.

Got hit with some sweet thunder and lightening, then heavy rain, and a few minutes of hail. Just kept rolling on that throttle harder. If you wonder, Night Dragons handle very well in wet conditions, I wouldn't be running 80+ otherwise; I'm crazy, but not insane

Finally back down in mountain town and topped off the fuel; the bike back in the garage, fans blowing on it to help dry out all the nooks. My Vanson jacket weighed 50 pounds hung up to dry along with my boots on the dryer, the gloves, and the kevlar pants hung to dry slowly in the utility room.

Now I'm back out in the garage; the bike is absolutely filthy sitting on the J&S, and my hands look like prunes; just sitting, drinking a few adult beverages, and listening to 80's metal.

It was a good ride

Oh yea RJD's passing near broke my heart, I saw him so many time live. The 80's perfected metal, that's the decade I live in.

Riding back down south on 127 to Mount Pleasant, the thunder and lightening, the rain; I saw multiple bikes parked under overpasses waiting it out, and this song started playing in my head the entire way home.

Never surrender, never give in

Hi Tall Timber.
FedEx got here early this morning so I had time to get the tires mounted and balanced, so far things are going well. Its over 100 degrees in the garage so its time for a break until it cools off.

Yeah everytime I ride onto my shop ramp too fast my front fork bottoms out...thud! And they are definitely too squishy!

I have some new chrome lower fork tubes to install I''l do it at that time.

I have the patient laid out for surgery tonight (new crossover pipe gasket).
