Well that sucks! I hope you get another!

I like it with that trim piece better than without it. The OEM rubber around the indicator lights is stained and raggedy and it covers it up nicely. It does look like something Liberace or Elvis would put on their bikes though, lol.

I love riding at night. Roads to myself. To hell with danger.

I bought a chrome dash for my Dyna, many years ago. Put it on and went for a ride. Found out the new dash blinds me when I'm trying to ride. The dash was removed that day and returned.

Riding around here between Midnight and 4 a.m. is a sure fire way of getting killed by a drunk driver or hitting a deer. I love night riding more than any other time but just had to give it up.

Default More tank and less cowbell

2 inch tank lift and horn relocation. I was surprised by how different the bike feels with the tank up, it's a big improvement for the money.
Not so sure if I like the horn there, I may end up moving it elsewhere or replacing it with something less ugly. I'm hoping to find some kind of shiny bit to cover up that tab where the horn was.

With the angle of the tank, he should be able to look at the dash, and check for bugs in his teeth, caused by smiling so much, while riding that beauty. tp

I have noticed the drunks on three occasions. Once had a pickup truck full of rednecks pull up next to me at a redlight talking ****(drunk). It's not hard to drown them out with a Harley. Once I could see a car swerving in and out of its lane up in front of me. Once I was fueling up and a car flew through the redlight running up on the concrete median lane divider(may or may not have been drunk).

I dont see many deer in the city(lol). But, yah never know.

How do you like the springs? I'm going to install them too.

Went to the dealer, they had the last part I need in stock. I also got a new crossover pipe gasket but not sure how to get the old one out or the new one in, or of it's really even necessary to replace it. Anyone?
