Chrome dashes are cool, but when the sun is in the exact wrong place, you can be blinded by the reflection, or so I have experienced. tp dd50

Yup. The face of mine was textured, which helped some, but I still found it occasionally distracting. Honestly, though, gloss black and the glass gauge faces aren't much, if any, better.

Have you guys seen any "short" dashes? Instead of the long dash that goes the whole length of the tank I'd like something that stops just below the ignition switch. I tried searching and I made post about it a couple weeks ago, but no luck. Any specific other model's dashes that would fit a Dyna?

I see you have the same kind of garage minions I do
I've got 5, all special needs rescue cats; 4 of the 5 love my garage. The 5th is blind and because things are not in the same places all the time he sits in the doorway and listens to all the shenanigans instead.
You're turning in to a wrench; you've got the passion for it and every moment you're working on your ride you're learning more.
Nice work-around with the scissor lift; I see you realized you need to block up the left side of the frame so you won't put pressure on the pan when you support the bike; nicely done![Big Grin](https://www.hdforums.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

The new sissy bar is on! But I've still got to feed the signal light wires back through, get them hooked up and then tighten everything down. So not completely done but almost.

Check here. I found more different dashes on this site, than elsewhere else.

Ordered some 2" bar stock to make some of those fancy 'gorman' style axle spacers. Also got in some material for a few other parts.
