search the parts finder here:
www outpostalaska.com

then use the found part number to order from:
www surdyke.com or www.boardtracker.com

Thanks! I have the paint stripped from the parts - going to give it another shot.

Funny you should ask. I am a brand new rider and this is my first motorcycle. Haven't been off the driveway since I brought it home in February.

Taking the basic rider course starting tonight so maybe I can answer that question in a few weeks. I got the bar mostly for protection. I have to say though now that it's installed, I like the look of it, balancing the front width with that of the saddlebags.

This bike feels awfully heavy, give me some encouraging words!

The weight disappears at around 10-15 mph. Good luck at the BRC! You'll have fun. Be sure to dress in layers.

You wouldn't happen to know if the install paperwork has the part numbers for the rubber foot pads would ya. I removed mine a while back and want to replace them now.

That's a really nice motorcycle and you won't notice the weight after you get some time with it. Once you start taking rides you should head down to the old OBI parking lot on nice afternoons. Plenty of bikes park and guys chat while admiring each other's machines. I'll head over any day I'm working from home and have 90 minutes to kill. On early Sunday mornings before Memorial Day you can go to Captree Marina where hundreds of cars and bikes go. After Memorial Day the OBI becomes the Sunday place to meet.

Threw a National Cycle "Deflector" screen on yesterday to help with a bit of the wind buffeting on the freeway.

You will be fine.

I can't ride for another 2 months due to surgery, I really wanted them for highway speed with the shape it gives me another place for my feet. Also plan on making some leather covers for them so when it is cold I can block some wind.

But like others said once you start moving you will be shocked how well balanced the bike is.
