What did you do to your Dyna today?

Thanks for the tips. I don't like the way it is turning out at all. I may try again. I would like to just buy a textured battery cover trim band like on this 2017 FXDLS Dyna Low Rider. I looked for it online to no avail. I could try the dealer, but damn I hate that place! I'll grin and bear it!

then use the found part number to order from:

Nice I can't wait to get mine. How do you like them so far.

Funny you should ask. I am a brand new rider and this is my first motorcycle. Haven't been off the driveway since I brought it home in February.
Taking the basic rider course starting tonight so maybe I can answer that question in a few weeks. I got the bar mostly for protection. I have to say though now that it's installed, I like the look of it, balancing the front width with that of the saddlebags.
This bike feels awfully heavy, give me some encouraging words!

The weight disappears at around 10-15 mph. Good luck at the BRC! You'll have fun. Be sure to dress in layers.

You wouldn't happen to know if the install paperwork has the part numbers for the rubber foot pads would ya. I removed mine a while back and want to replace them now.

I can't ride for another 2 months due to surgery, I really wanted them for highway speed with the shape it gives me another place for my feet. Also plan on making some leather covers for them so when it is cold I can block some wind.
But like others said once you start moving you will be shocked how well balanced the bike is.
