Serviced the bike and did the three hole change with Schaeffer Oil synthetics. Cleaned and ready for a ride with my dad and brother tomorrow.

Ordered a JW Speaker adaptive LED headlight from my brother. Should be able to put it on next week. Also looking at getting the KG3 Design front turns from Big Al's.

Out of town the majority of the day but did double check all my lighting; high beam, low beam; turn signals left and right with brakes on and off under both high beam and low beam. Everything is working properly.

Tweaked the headlight bezel slightly; wasn't perfectly aligned

Did discover if I shut off the ignition with the high beams on the diagnostic light didn't come on at the next turn of the ignition; until you switch to low beam, that is; the high beam is pulling over 1.2A, the low beam is clearly less that that.

Don't care; that red diagnostic light glowing at me is now the low beam indicator; the high beam is blue on the console; why not have a low beam indicator, too

A bit of black electrical tape over the indicator, even if glass covered, will diminish the bright red light's potential visual irritation... Done this before, and it helps. tp

I think Tin is about like I am, and that light won't bother him one bit. Lol

I get that. My car has had the "maintenance needed" indicator on for two years. Just never turn it off. Don't even notice it any longer... tp

Went for nice 100 mile ride today. Got to test out the DK breather kit with catch can I installed. Noticed my sunglasses were getting foggy during the ride when in reality it was moisture getting on them coming out from the catch can. I guess the combination of being out in the wind under the air cleaner and the pressure from the motor was pushing it out of the vent holes and was coming up towards me. Gonna re route the can location to the front of the frame behind my tool bag by my highway pegs and see if it helps. If not, I will just route it to the ground without the can and consider it a waste of money but a lesson learned.

Just got back from a good Saturday morning ride after having new handlebars and riser installed. Making headway, so far:

- Burley narrow 12" apes (so shoot me, I have t-rex arms)
- Drag Spec 4.5" pullback riser (now I have some play in my elbows)
- Daymaker headlight (pulled my low rider before trading)
- Reduced reach forward controls
- Mini floorboards
- detachable sideplates
- Drag sissy bar
- Great Bike tag/rear turn signals relocation
- Bad&G battery bag
- Downtube tool bag (hated spending they money, but man do I like the tools down out of the way
- Mustang day tripper seat
- Detach windshield (good ebay find for long trips.
- Screaming Eagle high flow air cleaner (not installed yet).

Once I recover from the bars install I will add the Fuel Pak III and V&H straight shot slip ons. Haven't figure out which saddlebags I want to go with, only that they need to detach.

Couldn't stand the lettering on the tank emblem so that's gone. Trying to figure out which one to replace it with.

I need to win the lotto.

I got the sliders and lower triple tree powder coated this week.

So far this weekend I've rebuilt my forks (had a seal leaking) with heavier oil, replaced my steering bearings, and changed my primary fluid.

Oh, and installed a phone charger in my battery cover bag.
