Now that is dedication, or maybe obsession. Either is ok by those of us here though... tp

Finally got it out of the garage…, Now that Spring hassprung in the great white north I have buttoned up the mods on my 17 LRS. It was an awesome experience to do all the work myself.

Mod List is in my signature.

The RSD Slant wasn't my first choice but it was found at my local dealership on the clearance parts pile for a lowly $300 Canadian. I was likingthe stainless look so thought I would give it a try.

Ya know, it just may be all the adult beverages I've consumed or perhaps the lighting in the garage, but I do believe those front fork tubes are now longer than they were before I took them off my beautiful girl; well huh... imagine that

That front end looks a little long... Are those +4's?

I bought some HD detachable saddlebags. They are used but in good condition and the price was great. However they are for a Softail so I have to find a solution for mounting them. Also have to move my signals now.

I had enough of the all chrome battery cover. Just didn't fit with the black and chrome mix elsewhere. Auto emblem from amazon and some plasti dip.

Got confirmation from UPS that my short block should be back from Darkhorse tomorrow. Then the fun begins.

Can't sleep, so I'm out in the a shop at 3 am removing the right side fuel tank emblem. I plan on doing some polishing work on the bikes paint at a later date - but for now, it's shiny enough!
I ordered some stuff from jpcycles.

Dropped it off yesterday at the dealer for warranty work, shifter shaft has been giving me issues since I bought the bike, the shift lever seemed to always walk off of the shaft. Finally gave up the ghost and went limp on me yesterday, shifting by hand isn't fun either. Happened on my birthday no less...lol just my luck. Waiting for a call today, hoping they have the parts in stock...
