...a thing of beauty is a joy forever...

Got some more ARP/Alloyboltz hardware today. The banjo bolts are lovely! They are modified ARP stainless (17-4PH) from Alloyboltz. Way overkill for the application and spendy but I dig little details like this.

Done did. Last year. Don't really have any good pics, tho. I still need to do the big crankcase bolts. Otherwise, pretty much the whole bike is 12pt. I couldn't fit them between the swingarm and rear sprocket, so those are shaved hex caps.

cggorman when you can you need to post some updated pics of your bike. Your rebuild thread was great. I wish I had your talent.

Thanks! I keep the thread in my sig up-to-date. Been moving extremely slow but it should pick up in the next month. I've got a pile of parts and work planned. Just getting back to it recently.

Looks good man! I didn't do the bars, rear fender or brakes.Too chicken **** to get too deep with the case bolts. Maybe later.

Yeah, they're not cheap. I have a long-standing policy against keeping track of my build costs, but I'd be surprised if my fastener bill isn't approaching $1k. Gotta be at least $750. Oh well, it happened a little at a time and they'll easily outlast the bike.

Memory like an elephant, man! Yeah, those are Todd's old calipers. He also hooked me up with the rear, 3 rotors, and the complete handlebar/controls setup. He's a damn fine man. Many thanks again, Todd!

Nice...

I'm interested what Mod for the caliper bracket support ("stay"?) to use that 08-later 2pc cal/brkt on the 99-earlier swingarm.

Haven't really looked at that mod
