Today we finished up my girl. And I got to ride her for the first time since I purchased in December. Took them emblems off, switched back to the mid controls. Bolted up the crash bar. Swapped the stock shocks out for the DX set i picked up off another member. Removed the strut covers and the rear signals. Still to come is the Thunderheader, PCV, and mags.

Click on this icon and click from device. Pick your pictures and then hit insert. That's how I do it from my phone.

Maybe later I'll order a new rod and 1" or 1.5" longer to close it up some. I want to see how it looks when I get around to modify the shift lever to allow the use of the longer Dyna version.

As soon as I am able to get out and ride I will let you know how it feels to shift. Shifting my hand is pretty smooth, I don't foresee any issues.

Hardware to install, 5/16-24 x 1.25" allen head bolts. The bolt is threaded thru the trans lever with a washer, rod is slide over the bolt, added another washer and then secured with an acorn nut. The front is pretty much the same with an added 1/8" spacer between the rod and shift lever.
Wouldn't a shorter shift arm = a longer shifter throw?
