Fixed my loose handgrip, adjusted rear shocks for rider weight and added my downtube bag to my LRS

Still no work on the actual bike, but I'm getting closer. Got my heads back from WFO Larry. Pretty much have all the parts to put it together now, just waiting for the lower end to get back from Darkhorse (should have it in a week or so) and then the fun begins.

S&S 117" cylinders, WFO Larry Stage 2+ heads, SE 58mm throttle body. I think I'm going to paint the cylinders all black, not a fan of the highlights, but S&S doesn't make them just plain black.

S&S 585 cams and Screamin Eagle cam plate & oil pump for good measure.

Its probably going to be at least a month before I'm ready to fire it up and break it in. And then dyno tuned. I'm hoping for around 120hp/130tq. Previous 103 setup was about 90hp/100tq so this should be a noticeable improvement.

Once I start actual assembly I'll start a new thread in the tech section.

I have the HD 117" kit dyno-tuned producing the numbers in my signature block. I will be curious to see how aftermarket stacks up. Please post your numbers once complete.

Adjusted the tune, used the pressure washer to give a bath, and put on the new RSD saddle. The new seating position is so low and far back that I also had to rotate the bars back a bit.

I bought myself a new Dowco Frenzy tail bag, a good fit on the package rack. It's just about the right size for a daily or weekend bag. The bag has a large central compartment with a mesh zippered pouch internal and external small zippered pouches on either side, good quality of construction. Under a hundred on Amazon. I'm still playing with the fit so excuse the super long straps
