Only the best artificial reptile skins for my favorite beer holder.
Got the shift linkage parts in and assembled. 96 grams (3.4 oz) vs 282 grams (10 oz). Almost 1/2 pound savings. I thought the old linkage was aluminum, but it's slightly magnetic. Must be stainless.
The heims are nice and tight. Great for most applications, but I'll have to get 5/16 shoulder bolts to keep the shifter rotating freely. The nuts were supposed to be 3/8 hex but they're actually 1/2. Not a show stopper, but I try to may hunt down some of the 3/8.
The assembly adjusts from 13" to 14.5" center to center.

The cool part is if you ever plan on doing motor work to uncork the motor it should be pretty easy.
