I removed my Bassani RR3 because of the noise/setting my pants on fire thing. I installed a V&H Pro Pipe. The weather was terrible out, so I actually brought the bike inside while the wife was sleeping. Got it all finished up just as she was rolling out of bed.

This was the before.

This was the burn hole through my pant leg.

This is what she looks like now.

Thanks man! I agree, it was the perfect choice, the lines fit the Wide Glide and that bar is one well made piece. It fit flawlessly; and, as an FYI for anyone planning on removing their rear signals to install a sissy bar; please don't cut any wires. I've seen those posts, just don't do it. All the rear fender wiring can be removed and reinstalled without one single cut...

I just love your bike in general. It's exactly what I would be going for if I'd bought Wide Glide. Same paint and mods. Exactly what that bike should be.

Just roll the bike into the office and start wrenching... Nice.

There wasn't a spec of dust out of place when I finished up. If I keep it clean, maybe she won't mind me continuing to do my work in there instead of our poorly lit garage.

Oh, you know it The Wide Glide is the throw-back, the homage to the old school custom choppers; she's about the lines and the look, and I can't imagine riding anything else; it fits me. Next is a solid disc 17" rear wheel powercoated vivid black, and I've still got this wild itch to go to 31.50" hard chrome fork tubes, +4" from the stock 27.50" tubes.

Desire walks on
