Pulled the rear brake caliper, line, and master cylinder to give it a good cleaning(both the brake components and the bike behind it). Inspected the parts, checked out the rear motor mount, installed new pads then put back together. Fronts getting the same work when I get my forks put back together(+4 tubes and polished lowers). Still need to drain the tanks and prep the sheet metal for paint and I ordered an Led headlight to put in(Amazon special).

I had a stupid amount of fun playing with TTS MasterTune doing data collection runs today. The I 15 north of Lake Elsinore is fairly empty early on a Saturday and it is a great section of freeway to do some tuning on. The high point of the day was watching the tach go through 3750 rpm in 6th gear, the bike goes dead straight, no drama.
Tonight I'm playing with the chassis set up a bit, adjusting the shock length from 13" to 13 1/4" adding a turn of preload, taking a click out of the compression damping and 2 clicks out of rebound damping. If it's not raining we will see how that works in the morning.

Beautiful Lake Elsinore!!!

Looks good. I wish you would have told us first, I would have voted for you to go with the red thunder and share plenty of videos and pics with the forum!!

Got mid way through installing the 3guyz oil filter relocation kit and like a dumbass didn't look close enough at parts needed for the install. Harbor Freight will be calling my name in the morning for a 1 1/8" deep well socket.

The kit appears high quality to me and the guys at 3guyz are pretty cool as well. I'm not a huge fan of pipe thread sealant and wanted to use teflon tape instead, called 'em up and they answered all my questions and more.

Took my '11 super glide in to the dealer to get some 6 inch risers installed (part of bike purchase). Now some of the control wires and cables are in front of the risers and some behind. Also they nearly snapped the handlebar ground wire, exposing copper. The risers didn't help enough and I've decided that I hate drag bars. Ordered low rise buckhorns from Amazon. I'll turn the wrenches on that install.

Picked up the flush mount gas cap and fuel gauge I've wanted for a while.... pricey.... but looks pretty good...

Also I added some black spoke skins to hold me over until I find a set of wheels eventually.... missed out on a few locally...
