Left side. directly opposite the battery box. Remove the four screws and pull the cover off.

Got to take her out for a short lap since putting on the new bars, and mini boards. Way more comfortable to ride now, and I like the mini boards better than all the other crap I've spent money on. I did end up ordering DK's 1 in riser ext. though when I got back. The LA choppers club bars are pretty good, but want a hair higher. The cheep Amazon bar bag was alright too in keeping the wind off my chest, although I did feel the wind hitting my helmet. Fairing is next up, or the seat...I kept wanting to slide off the back when rolling on the throttle this time.

Either way it felt great going out for a short conditioning ride...

Sounds like you need a seat with more kickup at the back. If you're relying on your grip and the bars to keep you in your seat, you're probably sacrificing some control. I know the Barebones I had was terrible in that regard.

Yup...got it down to either a mustang squareback, Lucky Daves, or Corbin Widowmaker...last two are at a premium price, so if I go with them it will be awhile.

TTS MasterTune. Much simpler than I thought. The communication interface is wrapped in a shop towel zip tied to the rack, easy data collection. The chassis is pretty friggin amazing compared with what I started with. Tomorrow I stop by the dealer to get the recall signed off then off to Auto Club to get my tags, then it's off to do a nice ride and see where the roads take me.
All in all I'm very happy with the way my obsession is turning out.

Hi Stonei3
Yea, it took a long time. I have to thank all you guys for the inspiration to get the damn thing done, and for all the ideas I "procured" from many people on HD Forums.
