2500Hdon37s, I'm having the same problem with my cover. can you tell us a little more about this cover and where you got it from? Did it come with a new gasket? Thanks for any help, I'm worried that fluid could leak and get on my tank!

Put on the FATBOB the Premium ribbed footboards, and then put the Bad&G saddlebags right and left on, hopefully in a few days the ice will go away and I can get out to ride a little.

Well, that's an ouch...
And again, ouch...
Stopped by AutoZone this afternoon and picked up some Mobil 1 75W-140 synthetic gear lube for the transmission and a bottle of DOT 4 brake fluid; as always, I'll do a flush and fill of the front and rear brakes before the first ride of the season. Spring and first light is fully on my mind
I miss riding my mistress...

Its a Thrashin' Supply cover, little pricey for a cover but the machine work is nice and I got a call from Corey, the owner and hes a great guy with awesome service. Doesn't come with a new gasket, I reused my original one, and it fits perfect. Actually takes a minute to get the seal right while putting it on (a tooth pick helps.) I got a couple drops of brake fluid coming out after I tightened it all up and drove around a little, but that has stopped. and I think due to the design of the OEM seal it'll let a touch of fluid on the top side of the seal under the cover and I think thats why it wept and corrodes the OEM cover. But the Thrashin cover does come with the new stainless screws that are much better than the pot metal phillips screws supplied by HD.

Hey Smogbob, can you take a picture of your bad & g bags installed? Looking to buy a pair and want to really see a good view of them installed.

Finished the brake in on the new air compressor, installed new tank valves in three bathrooms, and finally got the parts in to finish the assembly of a non-crappy tire inflator, and tire gage for around the house.
