I'll definitely be doing a full dyno tune. Fuel Moto didn't have an exact map for my build (117", 10.25-1 compression, S&S 585 cams) but they got me a decent base tune to start with. Hopefully enough to heat cycle it before I get it fully tuned.

So you got the 117" build done? Have you gotten out to do any break in yet?

Not even close. I just finally got the lower end boxed up to send to Darkhorse. Living in Minnesota during the winter allows you to take your time on things like this. Had to get a little extra cash saved up. Best case scenario the weather will warm up enough late March.

I just ordered the PV now because they were on sale.

So are you putting the narrow band O2 sensors back in or did you get the PV wide band sensors?

Do you have a thread elsewhere detailing this work that nobody told me about?

I did a exploratory thread a while back (linked above) but I'll start a new thread once I get a couple parts back and start some actual work. I do love a good motor thread, and I know you do too.

And I'm planning on sticking with the narrow bands, but I'm going to talk to the guy who will be doing the tuning and see if he recommends the wide bands.

It's been a few days since I did it, but got rid of the horrid peeling and corroded front master cylinder cover with a Thrashin' one!
