Gave my fatty a long overdue bath, resisting the urge to ride in hopes that I will no longer be sick in time to get to the mountains without feeling like **** this weekend.

Installed a daymaker and a flush mount gascap /-gauge. Looks like I'll need a new speedo next. New this was going to get out of hand. 😃

After owning as many bikes as I have, over the all too many years, I can say that you will get past the addiction of spending every available amount of funds on accessories for your two wheeled obsessions. You will probably never get past acquiring more of those two wheeled machines though, at least I haven't, thank God...

Right? I've been toying with idea of getting a second bike lately. Just a cheap metric city runabout. I kinda like my son's old Yammy YX600S

It's very similar to this one, but chevy orange frame w/ white tank:

Finally got my wheels and some other items back from powder coating. Took over a month. I wanted to get the trim of the wheel a different color with the main inner portion of the wheel being black. The shop struggled and tried like hell to make it happen but ended up coating the wheels all black because they weren't happy with the outcome. They teased me pretty good too on one visit..

Regardless, I started with performance, moved to cosmetics, now it's back to performance. Ready for some warm weather.

Put on the last 20 miles for the initial 50 miles on the top end. Change the oil tonight and put er on the stand until it warms up enough to do some highway miles.

@stonei3; It's all good..Sometimes it can be rough trying to plan the bike around color that bold/wide. Especially on the wheels. I think playing it safe was the right thing to do.

Smile Rode her

I rode my 2014 fxdb Street Bob on my regular commute that includes 4 miles of dirt road, and ~10 miles of twisty 2 lane hwy.
