Thanks! Will have to do it also. Thought just to drill, but slotting might be nicer option. What tool did you use?

This is the fender and fork brace in final mockup, tomorrow is touchup paint on the fender bracket as I scribed all over it, shorten up the front brake lines and actually bleed the brakes.

Great news! I've got the Terry Components 4 gauge #22066 battery cable kit and a Yuasa GYZ20HL battery in-route right now.

I hope that those new 4 gauge battery cables can solve that horrible V INERR problem you've had!

I've been lucky on that... so far... :::knocks on wood:::

Just drilling the lower hole was my plan also, when I laid out the cut plan there was so little material left slotting was the better option. I used a die grinder with a cutoff wheel to rough in the cuts and, hand filed to the scribe lines to finish. As a side note, the material that bracket is made out of is seriously tough as it required a very sharp Nicholson curved tooth file to remove material effectively in a controlled manner. I hope this helps.

So far, so good... It cranked good this morning in 31 degree temps. For the past 1-2 months, the LCD would go dim, then blank while cranking, but that didn't happen this morning.
What is a VINNER? 🌭?

Mirrors are a pain to pick out, big ugly ones seem to work, but their ugly and big. Little sexy mirrors let you see forearm or armpit. I chose armpit... I ordered a set of Lowbrow 3" spot mirrors.

Remember early chopper/biker days, a single mirror was placed in the middle of the bars, showing nothing behind the bike, but complying with local laws. Sticking it to the MAN, I believe that was called. Me, I want to see what is behind and coming up alongside of me at all times.
FWIW, nice looking mirrors.
Had a set of Rizoma's on an R1200R. Very expensive, but the best "behind me" mirrors I've ever owned. tp dd50

I decided to go with a pair of Progressive 412 11" rear shocks. I'll sell the stock shocks and lowering blocks on Ebay.

I have a small left hand mirror on mine. Functional, meets state requirements.
