Ordered my Lucky Daves San Diego bar on friday, received it on saturday and installed. These bars are great, the bike feels much more controlled compared to my apes. These pics were before I cleaned up the cables.

Looks good man. Kinda makes me wish I went chrome on the bars...

Thanks man. Nah, you just need to add some black accents on the bike. I like that blue with black trim....

Just did the basic grip and peg replacement today. Got rid of the stock stuff for some Joker Machine pegs and Avon grips.
Tomorrow is exhaust and programmer day, Thursday I ride to Santa Cruz for work, then Friday is bags and leave for Sacramento for the holiday.

hahaha, I've been coping by endlessly surfing the internet figuring out exactly what parts I'm going to use to do my handlebar swap...even got my dad involved to fabricate a custom headlight bracket so I can use my top mount FXDL headlight mounted to the forks.

Hope it was at least a Single Malt. It's 57* here, and that's still too cold for me to enjoy a ride. Maybe it's being too old too.

Just curious as to why you didn't go with something like this? Me personally,I've got to be able to adjust my bars.

Are those XR1200 forks on there? Had to look a bit, but the gold MX bars started growing on me. tp

Originally that was my plan. Risers and some renthal fat bars that I have. The main reson I didnt go that route was cash. The risers alone were more than this complete bar set up that I have...I like the gold bars on the bike though..
