Spent more than I should have on a "unicorn" rear brake lever. Been watching eBay forever and finally saw a NOS slotted billet brake lever pop up. Buy It Now...yes, please! I'm more excited than I probably should be, but I've looking for this part for almost a year.

Now I need find or fabricate an aluminum pushrod to match!

The PO put the matching slotted billet shift lever on the bike but didn't do the brake. It annoyed me from day 1 but I couldn't find a reasonably affordable alternative until a member here, "wideglidecvo", started posting pics of his DWG2 (3?) and I noticed his stock brake lever. Been on the hunt ever since. I mangled my steel brake lever in the wreck anyway, so SCORE!

Mine started to crap at at 18 months... Read several threads where people report only getting 1-2 years out of these newer batteries. The local dealer is a hassle to work with, so I basically told them I'd by my own battery, and never buy another bike or part from them again.

Yessir. Good memory! V-Twin used to make a knock off, but even it is discontinued. Would have taken the knockoff, but happier to have OEM.

yes sir, 14 FXDL. The battery was **** from time I got the bike. Constant VINERR codes on start up. Even after being on the tender over night. This new battery is actually less CCA's (310 v. 315) but the bike starts without any hesitation. The stock harley battery is trash.

was it on a tender?

ive just been lucky i guess. Never had issues with hd batteries. i had weird battery issues /starting once on a road trip, replaced the battery right away at the next dealer. it was 5 years old (stock). i dont tolerate that kind stuff.

I need to just have a huge helmet fire. Damn things are impossible to sell
Donate your old helmets to a motorcycle training facility.
Or, donate them to your local fire dept. The paramedics can use them in their "biker down" training.
