Since you have the visor I'm presuming you were putting the Power Vision in the mount or taking it out, it didn't let go while you were riding, did it?
That's why I only keep the PV on the bike for limited amounts of time, the Power Vision is expensive and cutting edge, but that mount is cheap and could sure be improved; I've had nightmares of my PV popping out of the mount or the mount breaking like your's did while riding and the Power Vision dangling from the diagnostic cable beating itself to death while I'm trying to stop...

New I would find something to do, whipped off the old saddlebag brackets for my throw overs which I use for travelling, and stuck my trusty left side saddlebag on, good for short trips.

Finally made arrangements today to get my rear fender out for powder coat. My workdays are such that I'm out the door at 4:15 AM and back home at about 5:30 PM, so getting anything done in town is difficult. It's great to have friends as my buddy Tony volunteered to do the drop off/pick up thing with my parts and managed to get us a discount due to combining our parts into a larger lot. I owe Tony A big "Thank You" for his help with this.
