What did you do to your Dyna today?

You still have to get your bike inspected but Texas did away with inspection stickers. So I cleaned up the back of my bike a little. Looks much better I think.

Cleaned the grime off from getting caught in last night's rain shower. Sitting in the garage staring at it as more rain comes down. Why, why, why does it rain EVERY Sat and Sun?!?!?!

Took 2 days to fit my new wheels and tires to bike. Went from stock wheels with a 100/90/19 front and a 160/70/17 rear to custom wheels with a 110/80R19 front a 180/55R18 rear. After a test ride am really liking improvement in ride and handling!

I watched this video Thursday night.
Got me to thinking yesterday, after work, what would be the difference if I removed my touring windshield, and rode my Dyna as it was intended. Man, what a difference, and improvement. Steering is so much lighter, and the buffeting from the wind off the screen is gone. Granted, I cannot comfortably ride at some of the speeds I did with the screen on, but still comfortable at 60-65 MPH. It's like I got a new bike, and it was at no cost to me. A true win-win, riding nekked, so to speak.
FWIW, the above video is fantastic, and worth any rider's time to enjoy. Viewing with headphones on makes it even better. tp dd50

Just returned from a back roads lunch run, without the wind shield, and realized too late that it had become BUG season. Got covered in bug guts, instead of the now missing windshield. It was a great time. Getting reacquainted with riding a naked bike, like I did for almost 30 years.
