Not the first time I've heard the 1 year milestone. I won't be able to wait THAT long before getting back at my regular hobbies...even if it means only working at 80%. Far as the build, I figured I would just keep adding to the existing thread.

 

Sounds good - it will be interesting to see the bike being rebuilt and what you come up with!

 

Do you have any local buds that can do the manual wrench turning, under your tutelage, to get the rebuild at least started, ie, tear down? I know some enjoy doing everything, but sometimes we just need a little help from our friends. FWIW, one of the best covers EVER !!!

 

I truly wish that were the case. Unfortunately, my friends are basically worthless in the shop. Nor do any of them ride. I'm kind of a lone wolf.

My employer allows 26 weeks of salary continuation @ 100% pay before moving employee to short term disability at like 80% pay for a certain time period before moving the person to long term disability.

 

Clicked passed the 7500 mile mark.

i was the only kid in HS riding a motorcycle... after HS i saw some fellow class mates get motorcycles. 1 died, 2 crashed hard and 1 crashed trying to follow my gs1100 on his ninja 250...

lol im 30 now and still riding. helps if you start young.
