Nice. Speaking of shipping parts, as soon as I can am shipping the the wrinkle black fuel tank dash panel to have it stripped and chromed. A little extra chrome on a Street Bob can't be bad, not too much though, just a little. Nothing tacky.

Last entry for today. I installed the new throttle cables - on the intake side only. I had to cut the OEM clips that hold the cables to the frame. I used some zip ties to hold the new cables back on to the remainder of the old clips and small zip ties to keep the larger zip ties from spreading apart. Nice and secure. Here are some pictures to show what I did.

Interesting. I always thought my throttle cables were pretty sloppy. I wonder if the PO did away with some mounting points when he put in the Mikuni. I'll have to look into that.

As for my gold wheels, they were stock on the S model but they are not growing on me. I'm having them powder coated orange. Harley racing orange. They are not really even gold, kinda look more like a camo brown IMHO. I've gotten rid of most of the evil shiny chrome stuff that was left, luckily most of this bike was blacked out at the factory. No throttle cables to deal with on the S, it's tbw and even has cruise.

Put it up for sale on craigslist

I'm saving for a small business loan and decided I'd part ways with the bike if I can sell it for the right price.

Good luck with the loan and business venture. Success will allow for a new Harley, so go for it. tp

I renamed it " Dynamo Zipper Glide". Instead of Dyna Super Glide.

'Zipper Glide'? Huh... is there a story there you'd like to share with the rest of the class? My mind went right in the gutter

Nice...

When you did your front end conversion, you didn't do the rear, right?? Just wondering...
