It's tedious work, but well worth it IMO. Looking good. Keep plugging away at it.

Thanks brother, and glad you are OK!!! Don't do that again, LoL.

So far tonight I took the battery out and put it on the trickle charger. Removed the fuel tank, air cleaner cover and backing plate, then removed the stock throttle cables. I am going back out after a while to install the new longer cables on the induction module side, at least. I may call it a night after that. Here are a couple pictures. I like taking and posting pictures not that they add much to the thread at this point.

LoL, I almost posted a picture of the battery charger that I ran over with my truck and it still works...Diehard charger by the way.

Installed the P&A saddlebag supports & new/relocated turn signals, in preparation of receiving my Leatherworks Inc. saddlebags in dark brown tomorrow.

Only got about 10 miles on it, but I love the seat so far!

Nice looking seat. I have a Lepera Bare Bones with the diamond stitching. I am peeling myself off the seat/bike after about 30-50 miles - for me it is a very uncomfortable seat, even with the gel padding. I am looking for a more comfortable seat. I will probably keep the Bare Bones for show. I really like the look of it on the bike.

Just ordered a Mustang Wide Vintage solo w/ backrest and matching passenger pillion for the FB... Hoping it's not completely hideous, and super comfortable for long hauls... Fingers crossed...

I have read many people on the forum say that that particular seat is very comfortable. I may try one myself.

Well the FXDLS hot rod project is continuing. Bike is now running great with the new 2-1, added the spoiler (poor man's oil cooler) The badges have been removed getting ready for custom airbrush tank paint in a racing theme.. The wheels come off soon for powdercoating. Can't wait to finish this go fast dyna project.

I agree. Love the Gold wheels. Reminds me of Ducati's a good while ago.

Default My 2015 FXDL project, day 2.

Still have the bars, hand controls and headlight to remove. Maybe tomorrow. Then I can start reassembly with the good shight!

Pieces ready to make their way to the powdercoater tomorrow. Then to quick trip to C&C to have a new seat fabricated.
