I installed the chrome switches on the right switch housing. Tedious.

Going to get the other side done before the night is through.

A few pages back TinCupChalice mentioned upgrading the lines and clamps to the Jagg oil cooler, and I logged that in the back of my head as something to upgrade in the future...well tonight while checking the bike over for an upcoming 900 mile weekend cruise I noticed this:

Looks like I know what I'm doing tomorrow night...

I'm glad I caught it before it dumped oil all over the highway somewhere 400 miles from home. I've had the cooler on there for over 12,000 miles.

Wow, glad you caught that early! Pick up some #16 fuel injection clamps, part #7051227, and fiber braid reinforced 400 psi Gates transmission oil cooler hose; 3/8" I.D. You can get the injection clamps and the Gates hose at the local NAPA store. You'll need a hose cutter or an uber-sharp knife to get a clean cut on the Gates hose...

Fortunately for me I work at an auto repair shop, already have the correct hose and clamps in stock. As well as a proper hose cutter.

What does a proper hose cutter look like? I've been using a razor blade.

Today I've been extending the handlebar wiring using the Burly kit. I am hoping to have all the wires run inside the bars before the night is through... I like to take lots of breaks.

Breaks are a good thing. Taking phone pics of where you left off can be priceless. Hope it goes smoothly for you... tp

Well I got the wires through the handlebars. Super Tedious. Maybe tomorrow I'll clean all the fingerprints off the handlebars. I am going to get some black mesh wire loom for the exposed wires. I still have to install the connectors. I broke one of the orange wedge pieces on one of the connectors. I hope things work without it.

I also installed a new left upper switch housing. The original one had a deep scratch.
