That's just WRONG, unless you knew it going into the purchase, and it's still wrong, even then. Good luck on getting them soon. tp

Not saying anything bad about Gary, I have heard he is a stand up guy. Tryed giving my business to a small northern Ca. Shop. Going in with the expectations of 4-6 weeks.
You know support the local small business man. But, insead I've been getting dicked around with every excuse out there. Should of just ordered directly through Gary.

Sounds like the dealer is on credit hold or something similar, and that is keeping the product out of your hands. If it were me I'd order directly through the mfgr, and cancel the dealer order, and ask for any down payment money back...That's just me, and 48 years in sales talking. tomp

Put it on jack stand, use Miller/Stephen glass/plastic cleaner on chrome/painted surfaces (have alot around thanks to FAA "Expiration" dates :-) ).Man was my rear wheel filthy :-0 .Sits in garage & usally covered BUT still that chrome can look real $hitty from just sitting and there is ALOT of chrome on this bike (compared to what I was used too)!

Call Leo, and explain that it came off, and see what he will do for you. I've bought 7-8 from him over the years, great folks.

Called them, explained everything in detail that happened (what procedures I'd taken in prepping the fairing for install, cleaning, weather, riding conditions etc).
They said this was the first time they'd heard of a lip on a Harley completely flying off, but they seemed very understanding and are sending me a replacement. Great customer service.
