What did you do to your Dyna today?
#2671
That's what I did today. I broke my gotdamm bike. Completely disregarded the working load limit of the single strap I used to strap my bike to the lift. Was changing out kickstand for 1in shorter, strap snapped. Bike dropped a foot. Don't be an idiot like me, use proper tie downs. Will be getting a full bike lift in the future.
Im an idiot
Imma tool
Fark i feel stupid
My poor baby, i've injured you.

Those images are so sad and disheartening...
When you are ready for a new lift look in to the J&S lift. This lift is very honestly one of the smartest things I've ever bought for my Dyna's. I can do major work to the bike with no straps needed. She's rock solid sitting there no matter what you're doing to the bike.
There is one negative to the J&S lift; after you've got one you'll be mad at yourself for not buying it years sooner.
I hope you can get your bike repaired quickly...

SCARY! That reminds that I need to yank my petcock and inspect the inlet screen before I let any fuel go to the rebuilt carb... Thanks for the reminder.

That's a nice, heavy lift you're looking at. Is there a bridge jack available for it so you can do suspension work, too? If not...might want to consider that. A good portion of our routine maint. involves tires in the air.

Ordered a J.W. Speaker adaptive headlight to upgrade the Daymaker. Looking at the reviews it looks pretty damn impressive. Plus I found a misprint on a website and after reporting it to them they offered me $50 off on it. Paid $515. Obscene, I know, but I figure I can get $250 out of my daymaker so I won't be too bad off!

BUT, nobody got hurt and the bike can be repaired. You're only out the deductible and the riding time. Bummer, but we see a lot worse!

That image isn't a J&S lift, I can't imagine anything short of a few beered up heavy *** football players slamming in to it knocking my Wide Glide off the J&S lift. The crazy stuff I've done over the winter, that bike just sits there and says, 'bring it'...
