Where is that Reindeer? I lived in Eagan and worked in Lakeville back in the early 90's. Wish I never left sometimes, beautiful country out there bro.

Rotor and pulley back on the rear today; chrome hardware, of course A bit tricky for my skinny backside to get the 60° of bolt rotation after the torque on the pulley bolts but I got it. Sanded off whatever BS coating HD put on the pulley outer edge and polished out all the machining and swirl marks. Now it looks smooth and shines. Two coats of Pig Snot and the pulley black is black. Ran out of time, the 14 ounces of Ride On and degrease the Night Dragon will have to wait until tomorrow...

Took the tins off and started sanding down the clear coat with 400. Prepping them all this week and then all next week taking off from work and saying good bye to the Vivid Black and saying hello to OD Green with a couple little extra things being painted on the tank and fairing.

hey TinCup, did you use anything to slide them on, spray or oil? I read where one rider used a 3in1 oil. Thinking bout this but I'll have to doit with the wheels on.

Wink Added some info...

Ordered a Kuryakin Bullet thermometer and a no name Chinese clock on Amazon, both of which will mount on my handlebars. My speedometer has a time display but I prefer to have it show mileage on one of the four odometer displays. Here in southern Arizona knowing the temperature is essential as we move into summer.

The Clock should be in this week, not so sure about the thermometer but hope they both arrive before we head out to the Laughlin River Run next week. I'll follow up with pics when I get them mounted.
