I can promise you it would be a decision that you will never regret. Love my J&S
My WG is sitting in the Jack now after doing a little shinning and polishing yesterday afternoon. 70+ degrees here today gonna enjoy a ride up the Natchez Trace with my son on his 74 Shovelhead long chopper

Did a few things to the SB:
-Added black spoke covers (was a pain in the *ss to do the rear wheel but happy with the outcome)
-Changed the thick HD diamond cut grips to PM renthal grips with smaller diameter. Absolutely love this mod, completely changed the way the bike feels! No longer need to squeese the grips on highway until my fingers hurt.
-Installed the side licence plate mount from Delta Parts. A perfect fit both with and without my quick detach saddle bags.

Finished up servicing the Superglide with Oil and Filter change, tranny fluid change and pulled the primary housing to check the compensator nut that loosened up and was re-tightened about 11K miles ago. All still good with all new Mobil1 fluids and K&N Chrome filter. Started doing some Spring chrome polishing. I very much dislike cleaning spoked wheels.

First Post, did some plasti dip today and bonus before-after
Here is a close up pic of my 2016 fxdb stock and then current with Bassani 2-1 Road Rage Mega Power, Arlen Ness intake, tank emblems removed, plasti dipped headlight ring, and not pictured plasti-dipped horn cover, smoked turn signal/brake lenses, as well as Power commander 5 with tune.

That is actually my son and his bike. He completed the build on it I think late last summer. The motor/tranny came from a 74 FLH that he picked up in GA. The FLH was a good looking bike but he just wanted the drive train and parted the rest out. The frame is a 73 Jammer that had never been built. He sourced the mid 70s Girder front end and Invader wheels from an old gentleman that had them stashed away in a shop (still in the original plastic wrap). Pretty much everything else on it he fabricated. The 70s seat also came from the same old guy. This was his second ground up build the first was a bobber centered around an SX 650
He just completed his longest ride on the Long Chopper from MS to just outside of Austin TX for the GiddyUp Vintage Chopper Show. He put about 1500 mile on it that trip and the bike held up perfectly

Moons MC headlight finally got here. Supposed to snow/rain today, so I wont be going anywhere on my bike. It sure looks brighter then the stock light though.
