Anybody else from wisconsin ride today? 75mi. in Feb. is pretty good for me. January is the only month I didn't get any miles in. For those that ride winter in WI, what gear do you recommend?

Cold weather is cold weather (granted some is colder then others) Don't limit yourself to just WI riders!

I have a gerbings heated jacket and gloves, but really never use them. I got some under armor cold gear 4 base layers, and a great Windstopper pull over top. Those, jeans, maybe a hoodie or another layer, my leather bomber from Fox Creek, a neck tube and some also Fox Creek insulated gloves keeps me warm down to 35. Usually use a full face too. I won't ride below 35 or so as I don't like the potential for ice. And always rinse off with very low pressure water when I get home. They use sooo much salt I'm afraid she'll melt away if I don't rinse!

I wear Kies heated vest, glove liners and insoles with textiles and waterproofs. Keeps me toasty on my high speed commute (70 miles mostly at 80mph or lane splitting stationary traffic). Coldest morning so far was 28F

Mchad: How was the fairing?

I had to take the bars off to run the wires; yeah there was cussing and all...I couldn't believe how much of a PITA is was. I actually doubted getting the Holey Rollers instead of the Wild 1 Outlawz, but it looks good so far. I have a buddy that is going to bring the tools I need to do the signal relocation on Tues, so that's back on the table. TTI's came in yesterday, so that's being done too.
