What did you do to your Dyna today?
#1811
Dropped off the DX today to get a big bore, cams, headwork, and hydraulic cam chest done. Dropping tins and wheels off for powder later this week and seat for reshaping and re-covering. Still very cold out and calling for 8-10" of snow tomorrow so no riding in the forseeable future.
This weather up here sucks, I can agree with that. Bike should be a ripper after all that though, post some pics!

Tonight I installed the new pipes. Also connected most of the loose wires to their proper places, and installed a new chrome cover for the voltage regulator.

The mail dude dropped off my 14' R6C Holey Rollers, and CD LED signals for the front and back. I also just pulled the trigger on some DK TTI's for my mufflers. I don't have the cash for a full exhaust system, so after reading for what seemed like forever I picked up W158's. Not interested all that much in performance, too old for that stuff. I just want that deep rumble, ya know? I also plan on ceramic rattle canning the mufflers black, too. I have a ton of stuff to put on my Dyna when I get a couple of days off, and it's warm outside. I'm done for his year, I believe. I just want to ride now...
Will post the gratuitous before & after when it's all said and done.

Yesterday I added Night Dragon tires and so far so good! They handle really well and look better than the Dunlops.
Slowly coming together... Love it!

It wasn't today but, last night I reinstalled my intake with new seals including the Carburetor seal. I also drilled the plug for the mixture screw for future tuneability. Getting ready to install my repaired/upgraded tank. Replaced decals with Fat Bob Emblems. Pics coming soon.

Tonight I installed the new air cleaner assembly and new spark plug wires. Drained the remaining fuel out of the fuel tank.

Went for a short ride...
Took the Super Glide and my bride out for a short ride over to the Cattleman's Cafe outside of Marana (northwest of Tucson) for breakfast. Had to get shot parked next to the big steel steer. {The Halogen running lights and pulsing headlight help my visibility.}
Tomorrow the local motorcycle club is planning a longer ride down to Bisbee for an late breakfast/early lunch and then returning up through Tombstone and back on I-10. The ride is projected to be 265 miles with temps in the low 80's... can't wait!

Ordered up the HT Flat Black ceramic paint for doing the mufflers. Waiting patiently for the manual I also ordered from, too, so I can get started.
