The SS spokes on my Dyna, both rusted and corroded, from just being in my enclosed garage. I'm 65 miles from the coast, so it wasn't salt in the air that caused it. I wasn't impressed with what happened to them. I expected more from them than I got. Just sayin'. tp
exactly. i have to keep my bike outside cause my wife is a household communist. so the spokes were constantly rusted and crappy looking. glad there gone!

well, hopefully mine don't suffer a similar fate because I don't like the prices of wide mags! If it becomes a problem I'll just tear it down and have everything powder coated.
Got it polished, waxed (with Klasse), and laced last night. Gonna install the bearings and true it up tonight.
Installed the passenger pegs kit on my '16 SB last night. Wrote up an install guide for it and just posted it here in the Dyna forum. A cool little project for this new DIY'er

Tonight I cleaned off the old head gasket, new exhaust studs, installed new head gasket and o-rings, installed the head, finger tight. I pick up a new torque wrench tomorrow after work.
I finally got to ride it.
First time I have ridden it since the last time I rode it, hahahaha
Finally got the salt and salty water off the road.
I'm NOT going thru that again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sock: I know what you mean with the salt and other crap. It's going to be nice this weekend up here and I'm not pulling Amber out. So I'm just getting her ready for the other parts I got coming in.
