Just admiring your 2014. Do you have boards on this? I have been thinking of replacing the pegs on my 2011 FXDC but have never rode with boards.

 

Ordered some intake seals . I think while the tank is off Ill do the intake, they are 11 years old

 

Ordered 49mm brackets from JP to redo the front signals. Jeez the ol'lady is gonna boot me out, good thing I'm done for the season.

 

Rode it...63 here today, nice through Sunday. I wont be home much!

 

passed the 2000 mile mark (got the bike mid November) treated it to a new Le Pera Dayton sport, with the basket weave.

definitely worth it. i had to give up on the spokes. trying to keep those rust free was giving me grey hairs...

 

You know they make stainless spoke and nipples, right? Add Aluminum rim and bye-bye rust.

I just spent a couple hours last night polishing all my spokes, nipples, and hub for my new rear wheel. All stainless and aluminum. Going from mags to spokes.

Test fit up, prior to polishing.... H-D spool, Buchanan's spokes and nipples, Excel 16x5.5 aluminum rm.

 

Those are on my list...nice!!
