What did you do to your Dyna today?

I absolutely love the d&d bobcat, mellow on idle and off the gas...... As soon as you get on it she barks! Fit and finish is top notch, and it's nice not having the same pipe as everyone else around me.

I added a 24 inch sissy bar from Slims Fab Farm. I think it matches the lines of the bike well and gives me a little piece of mind when my kid is on the back.

Then I made a helmet rack out of the old sissy bar...

Nice, I had those on one of my dirt bikes, pain in the ***! have fun with the rear wheel, would be easier to just take it off. They do look cool when they are done tho!
That's what they looked like on my 450.

it is ginormous, heavy too. you got it fast. are you going to coat it or leave it silverish? i should have another one showing up here any minute for the dual disk set up on my sportster... i'm gonna be flipping over the bars
are you gonna swap out your rear rotor to match?

I've got a set of new Pirelli Night Dragons sitting here; 90/90-21 front and 180/60-17 rear and I'll be pulling the rear wheel off anyway so it's a good time to go to the chrome solid disc rear wheel, new rotor, and chrome hardware ::shiny::
I can't wait to try threshold braking with this new big rotor. With the heavy Progressive springs and Lyndall brake pads it should be fun!
Your Sportster looks hot! I love that dual big brake setup you're doing on it. Gonna haul that critter down from speed but quick
Edit: I should have added, I called Arlen Ness when I finally had a quiet moment and they're sending out the correct 02-972-1 caliper bracket today. Good customer service! Lets see: a chrome solid rear wheel, a big brake rotor up front, eventually either a big spoke or 80 spoke front wheel. All that unsprung weight... oy vey...

The front wheel took about 1 minute per spoke. That certainly beats the time it takes cleaning those damn zinc plated spokes! A little trick I used is starting it closer to the rim and simply sliding it down the spoke. My J&S Jack got it up to a comfortable height.
