Finally got my Villain2Hero Defender bags on!
I will say this…the hardware is trash, no directions and there is a specific way you have to put them on and it didn’t say anywhere I would have to relocate my turn signals but I had to take them off to work. Also I’ve been talking to him all summer, not even 2 days after purchasing the price dropped over $200 and no price match for me. So overall not a great experience with this company!

I like the bags but can’t say I’d recommend them based off my experience

I agree with all of that! I have the FXRP bags on mine. His hardware is trash, no instructions, (which wasn't a big deal but still) bag rails need more support, finish is absolutely trash and the tabs aren't spaced properly. I had to use a bunch of washers/rubber washers to get the bag placement correct in the rail. I also powder coated my rails and hinges. You get what you pay for I guess. FXR Division bags are like $1800 out the door but I've seen them and they are far superior. I wasn't a huge fan of how they sit on the bike. That was the main reason I went with the V2H. I like how high they sit. I'm to invested with paint match now. Maybe if they crack up I'll go FXR Division.

rebuilt the forks with Progressive springs and replaced neck bearings and races over the extended weekend. Now the bike sits a lot higher than what it did previously and they don't immediately compress to half it's travel length once you sit on it. Went from easily flat footing it to almost tip toeing it.

I need to do my neck bearings. Is there a tool to knock the races out of the stem or do you just use a punch and a hammer?

There isn't much of a lip to catch with a punch and hammer, I used a cheap tool on amazon
