What did you do to your Dyna today?
Funny this came up. I ordered a set of ODI's this week to try out. I have been running the Performance Machine with the Renthal grip. I hope these are a little smaller in diameter, I think my hands will like it better.

Can say at this point that I have got my 05 FXD as I want it with this list of upgrades so far.
21 inch spoked wheel with stainless spokes
Harley front guard extension
3 degree raked steering head cups
2 inch overs
Gold seal emulators
progressive springs
10 inch Bar Craft apes
new levers, grips and mirrors
mini indicators front and back
SE heavy breather
Shorty mufflers
lay down number plate bracket
low profile smoked tail light
custom black number plate
lower gas shocks
custom paint
This is a before and after shot as it stands for now.
As bought June 2022 with 13250 mile on the clock
As it is today longer, leaner, handles better and looks way better. Will go into the cam chest next winter for bearing upgrade and a cam. It now has 20000 mile on the clock.

Upgraded the cam chest. Wood 555s, Wood lifters, Fuel Moto quickie push rods, S&S oil pump and cam plate. I've been sitting on all these parts for over a year but I've been waiting on the only guy I want do the work. He's a one man show, works out of a shop on his property and has insane attention to detail. Like cleaning all hardware and chasing all threads before reinstalling. He also welded my cracked thunderheader bracket and slapped on a new front tire I had. His shop rate is $95 an hour which is extremely low for anywhere in California. I'm just using a power vision with a Fuel Moto map. It sounds great and seems to run smooth. Way less vibration out of the engine then before. Maybe my cam bearings were going out I'm not sure. Either way it's tighter now. I'm not sure about Wood's quality control. There was a gouge and a burr on two of the cam sprocket teeth. A little filing fixed it but still. Also one of the Fuel Moto push rods was pretty tough to thread out and some metal filings came out of it. Chasing the threads fixed that also but cheese and rice!

Glad I could help with those week long frustrations lmao.
@Dynawobble
Woods cams are ground by Andrews.. Did I understand you correctly that you did not replace cam bearings? Full compliment is the only way to go.. OEM are known to let go..

Everything in the cam chest was replaced. It's wild how much less vibration there is now. I'm just assuming the bearings were going but I don't know for sure. The entire motor sounds different. (Not the chop of the cam out the exhaust but all the inner engine noises) He also adjusted the valves.
