Changed engine oil n filter.
1st oil change since I've owned it (6,000 miles). And did it need it !
A gorilla must have put the filter on.
I thought I was gonna crush it before it broke free (strap wrench)
For the life of me, I can't figure why folks believe that " if tight is good. Tighter is better".
Never installed a filter more than hand tight, and never had one leak or back off.

Settled on Lucas 20w/50 dino.
O ring looked fine on the drain plug, didn't see the need to replace it. No metal shavings that I could see on the magnet.
Life is good..

Had viking... The quick release brackets broke after a few years... Went with leatherpros... Really like these bags they fit more snug.

Test fit the new short front fender - it will be raised up to 1/4 - 3/16 inch clearance. I ordered some new stainless steel hardware for it.

Drilling holes in the full fender today. I'm going with the full fender (stock fender) yet I'm lowering it closer to the tire.

i bought a 2013 Street Bob a few days ago that had a Bassani 2-1, a nice looking exhaust but didn´t sound the way i like so a supertrapp vent on the Bassani headers, the fittment was allright but it left a gap that the Bassani heatshield couldn´t cover so i did a littel hammering and bending to fix that, was hoping to get a good long ride today but the weather suggested a day in the garage intstead

Loosened the steering stem adjuster nut 1/4 turn. It's an easy adjustment to make, just a pain in the *** to get to the nut.

Not today but I recently did an iron butt challenge. Solo. 1500KM in 15 hrs 40 min. Lots of breaks. The bike ran perfectly all day. I was deaf and wet at the end of it.

Today I ordered DK customs floorboards for the mid peg position. I may utilize the DK custom floorboard mounts yet use different floorboards.
