Thanks for the heads up on that.

One question I have. I take it the the lower mounts fit between the "stock HD" forward controls and the frame peg mounts? Might just have to buy some longer bolts.

Oops, one more question. How wide is it overall? My bars are about 33" wide at the end of the grips. Just like to keep my bike narrow to work my way through the parking lot type traffic on city streets. Car mirrors are the main issue for the bars, engine guard can be a bit wider to make it past the car body.

the bar is quite tight . I have limited space in my garage right now and no issues . Just rode my hour to work today and disnt even realize the bar was there . Again had no issue installing with what was supplied in the kit . If you need more pics pm me .

Thanks for the replies on the guards. I saw that one at the rain forest. Now I'm kinda torn between the mustache and the traditional looking one.

Tom
to be honest the mustache one ( that I use)
was going to be a highway peg as well. but it actually looks better than actually using them as highway pegs

if that makes any sense.

I'm giving a Mustache one a shot. Bought it on the rain forest. Prime free returns. I was thinking a minimalist look, but some protection from a slowish/medium tip over. If this doesn't rock my world, I can send it back. Then look at the traditional style.

I'll post a pic when I get it temporarily installed.

Thank you all!!!!

mine saved me already. Two up went to put my foot down but there was a hole just large enough to offset the weight where I could only let it fall to the ground (right side). No damage but a badge of honor on the bar now.

Good point on the clutch cable. Will also check for any wires and evap hoses that may be in the way.

I didn't know that they used a U clamp, I figured they bolted to the forward control/foot peg bolts.

Thanks again,
Tom
