Those look good! Where did you find those? Did they come in black or are they painted.

Bought them used off a guy on a harley facebook site, he had painted them black. The springs are always black on 2000 and up FXDX bike but he painted the rest black to match. Awesome riding shocks, wanted to get a used set to see if I liked the 13.5" over the stock 12.6" before I paid big money for aftermarket, and I don't think I will ever go back, love the ride and ground clearance of the taller shocks. These are also compression and rebound adjustable which is a nice feature.

Cool thanks. Yeah I hear on that I don't wanna spend a lot of money on shocks either. The factory ones don't bother me to much just would prefer them all black.

Over the weekend, I got the custom sidewinder-style A/C tube finished up. Still need to paint it. May wrap it with header wrap. Next I need to fab up a carb mount bracket.

I got the '04 Road King Custom console mostly modified to fit my '99 WG tank. Still need to figure out paint, garnish moulding, and mounting bracket.

Got my AV72 Cobra 200/60VR16 in the mail.
Ordered the Excel 5.5"x16" aluminum rim. Waiting on it to ship and then get to start lacing and truing.
Ordered another K&N air cleaner (RC-3680). I didn't care for the one I have (RC-3780)...too short.
Ordered some nice hose clamps for the filter and tube. Wurth Zebra clamps. Gonna paint them black.

Think you may be right SB man...I survived the crash with no broken bones, just a bit battered and bruised. Everything I was wearing was wrecked from my helmet to my boots.
Bike's got trashed handlebars; tank; brake levers and footpegs; exhausts; mirrors; air filter cover and tour pac.
