Default Major progress day!

Yesterday was a big day! We got the bags assembled and installed. We re riveted the latches and used ARPs on the hinges.

Wired up the USB for my phone charger mounted in the fairing.

Assembled the tank and fully installed it and all the rest of the tins. Fairing, lowers, battery & fuse box covers, horn and coil cover. Didn't have fuel on hand so I didn't get to fire her up.

Did a 3 hole on her! Lmao

Installed the Feuling vented dipstick

All that's left is to install the headlamp and pod lights and wire them up. Test ride and probably adjust the clutch cable. My buddy is going to try and dial that stuff in today and this coming week. The goal is to be riding next Saturday for my birthday!!

Was a very very nice shop in the rolling hills of central NY, about 2 hours from home, knowledgeable, asked a lot of questions, right down to my weight .
Going with Andrew’s 57 cam this go around, Jagg 10 row low mount and an AIM clutch.Stock heads with MCR’s, 10.2 comp.Hillside gapped and installed the rings .
Got used cylinders and new take off heads on FBM $235 shipped , couldn’t beat it,new cams for fixing friends AC, oil cooler here for $265 shipped.
about $1500 so far🤣 , I’m doing the labor , PV already made a tune for me too.

Just ordered a new front Scorcher, tube and strip from Dennis Kirk. Going to try changing a tire for the first time. Watched a few youtube vids. Does not look that hard. HD dealer quoted me just under $400 with tax and me bringing in the wheel.

That's insane! $400 for one tire that they don't have to dismount from the bike. Bananas!
