Definitely not the prettiest, but they make it more comfortable.

Could have spent hundreds more…these are 100% improvement over stock.

Did a 70 mile shakedown over some of North Texas’ crappiest county roads, loving the upgrades. Heavy Duty springs and new fluid tightened things up.

Added a set of lowering blocks to the shockies and fitted a new set of mirrors

Quick update to this post. In the picture above you can see the laser line start to drift to the right, this is what was making me think the engine/tranny are slightly out of alignment, since the wheel/swing arm are pretty much dead on. I was rechecking yesterday and I noticed that the sprocket face has a tiny radius on it causing the laser body to tilt from plumb. When I compensated for the radius, the chain alignment from rear to front sprocket shot dead on straight. I can't recommend the laser more, it's a Profi-Cat Motorcycle chain alignment | Profi Products (profi-products.de) I got the recommendation from another member (sorry man, I can't remember your username), you can even use it on belts.

That's awesome I just took 2 links out of my chain yesterday as I went to a smaller rear sprocket. I just used the factory procedure for aligning the rear wheel. I should probably pick this tool up!

Default Progress

Yesterday I made some progress. Removed 2 links from my chain to accommodate a 53t sprocket down from a 55t. Got my floorboards mounted back up with fresh powder coat. Got the front and rear fenders mounted and the FXRP bag rails on. Over tha last week my buddy made me a gold brake line and did the wiring and added a relay for the pod lights for the RP fairing. My bike has been at his house during this process. His garage is basically a shop!

And yes, it will look great with the bags but what a shame at the cost of covering the fender

Thank you! I appreciate the compliment. The bags are paint matched as well. I get it though. I've had the same thoughts about the fender. 😂
