A Stew Mac ruler. Someone is a guitar player!?

I plan on fixing a " C " bracket on the back side of the plate to secure the hoses and filter a little better. I doubt it'll be an issue but it will be nice to have it tied down. The AC cover is off due to it getting painted and is drying on my living room table along with a few other bits.
Seat is also at the upholsterers getting that dumb gap filled where the badge is recessed in. I'll report on the improvement ( or not ) as well as how the intake and filter set up is doing after some miles.

Ride safe everyone.

Glarp

StuMac string height gauge comes in handy not just for setting up my guitars.

Holes drilled and grommets installed.

Everything in place.

Waiting for AC cover to dry so that I can get in installed and back on the road.

Default Off to paint!

Tins got dropped off for paint yesterday as well as a new Shoei Neotec 2 helmet. Sat with the painter for about an hour discussing what I wanted. Talked about what works and what doesn't. I've never had a bike painted so it was pretty educational. He took a bunch of notes and sharpied out some flame shapes and whatnot. He showed me different golds and flake. To say I'm excited is a vast understatement! 4 weeks!

Nice. I've gotten a few paint jobs over the years. It's always nice working with a pro rather than a hack. Hoping to se the final product.

Gold metal flake body. Black metal flake flames with a pearl mixture for maximum pop. Flames will be pinstriped in red.

Finished her all up and let me say, the difference between the stock 88" and this 100" is quite significant.
I was expecting a good little jump with it but the mid to top end really surprised me.

Nice! My 88" RK punched out to an S&S 100" is way faster than my 103" dyna.

That would be a nice surprise haha
Other than the pipe, air cleaner kit and motor work everything else is bone stock so I'm thinking a new ignition and let it ride until the clutch goes. The carb jetting is damn near dead on first try so I'm not terribly worried about that.
I might have to bump the limiter up with the way it pulls up top.
