I finally got the external breather done. I tried drilling out the rubber tubes that come with the SE intake but they looked like hell when I was done. This is what happens when I drink too much and watch YouTube.

I had better luck this morning. Ace Hardware had some nice grommets their treasure bins and the auto part store had the 90 degree elbows.

I think the edge trim on the football makes it look more stock.

Default FXRP Fairing & Lowers

Okay. I got the RP fairing and lowers test fit and all holes drilled. Trimmed the fairing some to clear the 49mm tubes and the right side lower to clearance the thunderheader. This fairing was bought used and it had already been trimmed but they did a **** job but that's what you get when you buy used. Paint appointment in 2 weeks. Woooooooot!

I finally received my shipment from Hillside Cycle. I will start the install this week and hopefully finish by the weekend.

Thanks for all the support, I am excited to finally get started. I will post updates as I move along. This is not my first engine build but it is my first Harley engine build. I have all the correct tools so hopefully it will go smoothly although, I may have a question or two along the way.
As far as the tuning, Scott recommended Ed at Dyno Difference in Dallas. I will do the first warm ups and then carry the bike to him. I will definitely post what I get. I hope it hammers!

I built my first upper end a couple years ago. 2016 Road Glide with a Fuel Moto 107. Believe me youtube is your friend on this. Plus you have all the people on multiple forums. Good luck.

What did I do with my Dyna today .... I posted it on Craigslist. I have a 1991 HD Dyna Strugis that is being abused (sitting in the garage). I debated for months before I posted it for sale. I hope that I don't hate myself after I sell it.
