I had a 20 inch windscreen that came with my bike and I wasn't that keen on it but the wife liked the wind protection she got on the pillion with it fitted so I cut it down to 14 inches today and went for an hour or so ride to test it out. Wife is happy with it and it is about as perfect for me as it could be so it will be a permanent fixture on the bike now.

Talking 2004 Dyna Super Glide FXDI

I recently purchased this bike from my brother in-law with only 5,800 miles on it. He purchased the bike new and always kept it in a garage it's entire life. Anyways just yesterday I installed a pair of Rush Slip-on mufflers and HD chrome flame grips. I have also installed a new Halo headlight from Eagle Lights on the front end. My other bike is a 2005 Goldwing GL1800. What a difference.

wow, these Rush slip-ons sound really mean.

Check your tranny fluid for water. The vent tube on my FXDB did an excellent job of pulling water in the last time I was caught in a big downpour.

Sold it. Wife decided she'd rather pillion than ride her own, so we sold the Dyna Low we had bought for her last November,

Unhappy Registration woes

I live in CT so our DMV for registration is by appointment only. Yesterday I tried to get an appointment to register my 2004 Super Glide for this coming Saturday. Gone are the days of first come first serve. The earliest appointment that was available in the entire state of CT was not until Sept 20 and that was nowhere even close to where I live. What a bummer to finally have the bike ready for the road and now I still have to wait. Oh well I still have my Goldwing to ride.
