What did you do to your Dyna today?
After about a month of charging issues I finally got it right and working great. J&P cycles sent me the wrong stator. Did some research and found out their site was wrong on the correct one. It turns out my yr and model takes a 50 amp instead of the 38 amp. No they won't stand buy their mistake and will not return my money. Last time I buy from them.
hey what year/model dyna is incorrectly listed?
Thanks
Thanks I am defiantly exited. I could have used GMR in Fort Worth but I like Scotts attitude and his work speaks fo itself. I told him I wanted a nasty sounding high compression hot rod and I am sure that is what I will get.

you know, I didn’t buy them for wet use! But I got to find out today when riding home and hit a down pour on the highway for a few miles. Probably the first set of motorcycle tires I’ve ridden on that don’t want to pull around on very wet roads at interstate speeds when you go in and out of the “tracks” in the water left by other vehicles! Didn’t really get the chance to test braking, acceleration, or much cornering tho in the wet. But confidence inspiring so far!
Also pro tip for anybody with a Memphis shades road warrior fairing setup… KEEP SOME ZIP TIES HANDY! I had 2 of the plastic windshield bolts fall completely out while riding today and two more lose the plastic nuts off the back, but was able to get the bolts before they fell out. Then proceeded to use zip ties I happen to stuff in my plug kit bag for such an occasion, to hold the left side of my windshield on!

It has taken a couple of days but I tore up a perfectly good motorcycle. I spent half a day Sunday and last night after work tearing my bike apart. the heads are headed to @Hillsidecycle.com for some port work. when it is all said and done I should have one of Scotts 110cu hot rod motors in the bike. I am buying all the parts from him and doing the assembly work myself. Hopefully this will be a mean sounding high 120hp motor!

Motor Mount
I swapped my Chopper Hauss rear motor mount back out for a factory HD. After 3k miles or so I decided it was way to stiff. It had some clearance issues as well. I'm a huge fan of the aftermarket but in this case it was a bust. I'm lucky to have a great friend with a lift in his garage that is always willing to help work on bikes.

Removed the stock sissy bar and backrest since my wife doesn’t want to ride anymore and replaced with 16 inch so I can strap my sleeping bag and tent to it when I am in the doghouse ! 🤪😂😜
Extra 4 inches never hurts ! 🤪
Looks better in the sun.
