Took it on the longest ride of the year - 150 miles. Yeah, I know.
Anyway, the LePera seat is not good. It looks good but holy butt burn.
And I am really getting sick of the stupid handlebars. I know I want something taller with more pullback but deciding what way to go is making me insane. And with the dreaded ABS, who knows if I'll ever get it done. . . .

I never cared for lePera myself.. I've never had issue with Mustang seats, I put 1100 miles on 4 days on my Street Bob with a 2 up Mustang... As for your bars post up a pic of your bike.. I didn't like the 10" mini apes that came factory on the bike so I took a set of torches and bent them up the way I like and then had them powder coated.. Now I have 10" Buckhorns....

Just stock drag bars on stock 4" risers with 2" extensions. I really wanted a Street Bob like yours but they were hens teeth 2 years ago and now just a myth.

Every one has they're own idea about bars.. I just don't see how a forward reach as in straight bars could be comfortable for long rides.. I have seen take off mini apes on eBay before for a $100.. good luck..

After about a month of charging issues I finally got it right and working great. J&P cycles sent me the wrong stator. Did some research and found out their site was wrong on the correct one. It turns out my yr and model takes a 50 amp instead of the 38 amp. No they won't stand buy their mistake and will not return my money. Last time I buy from them.

Last weekend I finally got a chance to get out and ride a while. I had installed The Flow Motorsports foot pegs, had my seat recovered in leather, installed a Wide Glide gauge console with the Harley tach speedometer upgrade. The bike sure was easier to ride with the foot pegs and leather seat. a I like the upgraded gauge, it is much easier to see and has most of the info available without scrolling through it like the stocker.
This week I ordered a 110CI upgrade on the engine from Hillside Cycle. Scott and I talked a while and came up with a good hot rod bar hoping combo. I will start that project when the parts arrive.

Hillside has a great reputation. Glad to see a Texan using them!
