I still need to do the rocker covers but I was waiting to get chrome rocker covers before I replace the bolts. It took a little time but it turned out great. They really stand out in the sun. The picture below is from last night when I got it back together.

Do yourself a favor and check out allens fasteners. You have to buy the bolts individually, but you will save a pile of money vs buying a "kit". You can find bolt sizes on the harley service portal website. Just lookup your model year parts catalog and in the back there's a hardware listing. At one point I had all of them written down from when I swapped out all of mine to ARP, but I misplaced it.

Yeah the Bad&G bags are very good quality..1/4" thick leather and you get to pic all your options.. Standard Solo Right side bags are 3" thick. I recommend the 4” option.. I had to add a turn buckle because the wind from riding would cause the flap to fly out a little.. My total was $274 shipped.. Well worth it..

Noticed the odor of gasoline when I got on the bike a couple days ago. Looked down and gas was dripping from the fuel check valve. Went on line and read up on it. Went to YouTube and watched several videos. Used this one as my guide,
Bought the o-rings at autozone, jacked up the bike, pulled the fuses, manually released the pressure, picked out the old larger ring, squirted some WD-40 in there and used a finish nail head to feed in the new ring. Snapped the fuel line back in. Put the fuses back in and fired her up. Let her run for about 5 or 6 minutes. No leaks. Love it when things go easy which is usually not the way.
